Right from the time BLAIR joined BRAIN WAVES in Std VIII. I found him to be a conscientious, sincere, modest & likable person. BLAIR also has a tendency to obstinately stick to a particular point of view & argue incessantly based on that premise. This can get on a person’s nerves – especially teachers like us who are used to unquestioning obedience from students. I concluded that the arguments arose out of an extreme desperation to seek knowledge.

The next year, in Std IX, BLAIR’S pride overcame his modesty, which clouded his sincerity resulting in a steep drop in his academic percentage too. But on other fronts BLAIR was doing well. He would try to comprehend the concepts, unlike earlier, where it was just rote learning for marks. BLAIR would interact confidently with his peers, teaching the other students effectively during the FEYNMAN’S TECHNIQUE SESSIONS. In his SSC year, BLAIR came out revitalised, with a fresh outlook & improved perception.

BLAIR’S transformation was amazing - the introvert, who refused to even look at girls and chose "snobbishly" to interact with a handful of mates, was now the most sought after “Wizkid” in our WORKSHOPS. I observed, students right from StdVII to SSC, boys & girls, seeking his advice.

BLAIR’S DAD, a successful star in the corporate world, has the clarity regarding the requirements for success in life. His DAD was exclusively focused on BLAIR’S Personality Development - from within & without. This essential quality is rare in a PARENT, & this has been the most powerful contributing factor for BLAIR’S transformation.

BLAIR’S MOM, was the perfect observer - while appreciating his good qualities, objectively pointed out his shortcomings promptly. In the absence of nagging, her contribution momentously complimented DAD'S efforts towards BLAIR'S transformation.

BLAIR’S BRO - RALPH, devoid of sibling rivalry, was always appreciative of his kid brother - BLAIR. I reckon, his role though invisible, was a crucial support.

Besides, BLAIR is blessed with a loving family - his DADI, his NAANI, his cousin ELDEN and AUNTS - who will forever remain his support system – as he climbs the ladder of success.
